The Single Plate MICROVAP is our most compact evaporator, making it ideal for laboratories with limited bench or hood space. It provides an affordable solution to dry down high capacity, low volume samples in a 96 well microplate. The unit is designed to accommodate both standard and deep well plates.
In order to evaporate high boiling point solvents effectively, the digital temperature controller and solid aluminum heating unit provide uniform heat up to 130°C with temperature accuracy of +/- 2°C.
This unit efficiently evaporates samples through a combination of an aluminum heat block and nitrogen gas blowdown. The nitrogen distribution manifold offers continuous and evenly dispersed gas flow to each sample position through stainless steel needles. This manifold raises and lowers as a unit to start and stop gas flow to all samples with one motion.
