Nitrogen Evaporator, MULTIVAP Series, Standard, without Controller and Heater, 48 Sample Positions

The benchtop evaporator contains a rectangular gas distribution system mounted on a frame and dual post assembly, allowing the needles to be raised and lowered with ease. The manifold delivers nitrogen gas to the needles or glass pipettes, which direct the gas onto the sample’s surface. This method results in rapid solvent evaporation and sample concentration. In order to conserve nitrogen gas, the manifold has a toggle switch for every row of 6 samples, which allows the individual rows to be shut off when evaporating batches of less than 48 samples. Nitrogen gas flow is also controlled by an adjustable flow meter.

This MULTIVAP includes one set of custom heat block inserts, expertly machined to fit the user’s tubes. Not only do these custom inserts ensure proper fit and optimal heat transfer, they also eliminate the need to move samples to special evaporation vials. Additional heat block inserts are available for use with other tube sizes.

This MULTIVAP uses nitrogen blow down to gently concentrate delicate samples at ambient temperature. The nitrogen distribution manifold offers continuous and evenly dispersed gas flow to each sample position through stainless steel needles.

This unit also comes standard with a needle guide to effortlessly center the distribution manifold over small tubes.
