Nitrogen Evaporator, MULTIVAP Series, Acid Resistant Coating, with Dry Block Heater (30-120°C and 900 W), Digital Control, 80 Sample Positions

The benchtop evaporator contains a rectangular gas distribution system mounted on a frame and dual post assembly, allowing the needles to be raised and lowered with ease. The manifold delivers nitrogen gas to the needles or glass pipettes, which direct the gas onto the sample’s surface. This method results in rapid solvent evaporation and sample concentration. In order to conserve nitrogen gas, the manifold has a toggle switch for every row of 8 samples, which allows the individual rows to be shut off when evaporating batches of less than 80 samples. Nitrogen gas flow is also controlled by an adjustable flow meter and a built-in pressure regulator.

This MULTIVAP includes one machined heat block, expertly machined specifically for the user's tube size. This instrument is designed for customers who will be using one specific tube size. The customized heat block ensures a proper fit and optimal heat transfer for that one tube size.

This MULTIVAP combines gentle heating of an aluminum dry block with nitrogen blowdown for effective sample concentration. Reaching temperatures up to 120°C, this instrument is ideal for labs working with solvents with high boiling points. The nitrogen distribution manifold offers continuous and evenly dispersed gas flow to each sample position through stainless steel needles.

This unit also comes standard with a needle guide to effortlessly center the distribution manifold over small tubes.
